Trial Of Chaos

Don't get me wrong, so far i love every thing about PoE2!
The body blocking problem don't bother me much but i get were some people are coming from.

How ever.... The Trial Of Chaos is waaay to hard.
You need to get lucky with the "debuffs" and even if your lucky it's next to impossible ( for me at least). Yeah yeah get gud an so on but my biggest problem with the trial is that it's a quest and I feel compelled to finish it before I do the last boss and go on to Cruel.

Sure make the trial hard, keep it as it is. but for the quest version they can atleast make it possible on the lvl you're on when you get the quest.

As of right now the Chaos trial feels like a endgame mechanic that I'm not yet ready for...

What do you guys think?
Do I have a point or should I just bang my head at the challenge and "get gud"

They need to retune this trial. I can't help but feel it's geared to humiliate the player or just make it impossible. I hope that is just because it's early access. They intend to go over it again and, as I mentioned above, retune it for proper balance and gameplay.
the debuffs are so overtuned its insane, im level 48 1shotting mobs and getting chain CC'd to death. Still havent been able to complete it. 10 massive debuffs is WAY too many
I generally agree, idea's fine, mob density is so much higher than any other part of the game to that point. There are times when it's just wall to wall mobs. Dodging is of little value when it just dodges you into another group, and seeing telegraphs gets pretty hard in a mosh pit.

I think in normal sizes, the mobs are otherwise good, the types of missions are good, and the random debuff options are good (Though another half dozen effects could be added, heck, cutting back on base mob size, they could add a downside of '+50% mobs spawn').
It feels doable to me as a warrior, though I haven't done it yet. Mob density feels appropriately modest.

What if each day we got one Inscribed Ultimatum on a little altar near the entry way? Essentially make this a daily that you can run more often if you farm the tokens.

I do think the modifiers are extreme, and would enjoy seeing them toned down. Either a fair amount, or only a little but give us a way to reroll them, perhaps with minor soul cores picked up during the trials.

That said, the smaller bird boss' whirlwind attack is very big for the amount of damage it does, and I think either damage or area should be toned down. If that attack comes out at the same time as any ground hazard trial modifier...I don't know what I'm supposed to do.

Orrr let me respec ascendancies so I can go back in time and pick up Jade Form. But that's a separate topic.
