Where Are All The Jewels?

Jewels are items that can be placed into jewel sockets in the passive skill tree, but never found one yet. I'm a level 50 warrior and still haven't found one during my playthrough. Do they exist in the game? I would like to see GGG increase the drop rate of Jewels in the next patch update!

" I have found a single blue by level 40 and it's worthless to me. I have two empty jewel sockets. Jewels seem incredibly rare and again lack of alteration orbs means what you get is going to be useless with no way to fix it. |

58 hrs and I've only found one that is not relevant to my character. |

I've been luckier in that I've found 4 jewels but all useless for my build so sockets remains empty :(
