Decrepit Mercenary mob in maps

These things must have a couple extra digits on their damage or something, every map i see them in they hit for over 2000 without damage mods AS A WHITE RANGED MOB and they come in packs of like 7. Add a damage mod and they just oneshot if i happen to not block.
this is with 6k armor and 77+ elemental resists so im pretty sure its not a me issue - every other mob in every map does nothing even close to these things...

I can also confirm, they seem to do vastly more damage than intended
Running through the Ogham Farmlands in Cruel and yeah, getting 1-2 shot frequently from non-boss non-slams doesn't seem right here

e: It's their snipe or charged shot ability that does it. Should be strong, but it's probably too much atm

I agree with OP that the Decrepit Mercenaries still must have something wrong with their damage equation. One mistimed dodge roll or a little latency hiccup and I've lost my map and the map position's extra content when a white Decrepit Mercenary 4 levels below me one shots me without any damage mods on the 2 maps I've run into them on now.

I saw my healthbar vanishing in an instant when these mobs appeared after I killed a rare monster.

The damage is way overtuned for those attacks. Such fast ranged attacks shouldn't have that much damage, it feels way of balance. I was dead after 2 or 3 shots and they were white mobs without mods.

Even rare mobs with slower attacks didn't have that kinda damage.
Agree with OP. 1.8k life 1.7k armour 100 life regen. I can take hits from any other white mob without issue. Got sniped off-screen and died to one hit from a white mob.

They are too dark, very hard to see in most maps.

If I see the glow of their snipe its usually too late anyway.
Another one here if theese things get past my 91% evasion they take out 2299 life and 3002 energy sheild and capped resist as level 80 white mobs.
I was wondering how I nearly died with all of the defense I was running. I guess it's true these things are doing too much damage. I was so confused as I was on a lower tier map just clearing it because it had a nice 29% exp mod. The only monster modifier was armored monsters with more rare monsters. I got stunned twice in less than 5 seconds and 2.1K hp w 300 es taken to 20% hp within seconds from the decrepit mercenary pack. See clip below.

Agree. Decrepit Mercenary enemies are an inappropriate combination of fast hitting and hard hitting. 2 of them will immediately blow through 5600 ES and 30% phys reduction from armor before you can even dodge or close quarters.

I'm bailing on any map I see them in trying to get to 95.
