[PoE2] Monsters in Trial of Chaos are immortal if you jump off the cliff

In first room of Trial of Chaos I didn't use the elevator platform but just jumped off the high-ground with the Leap Slam.
Monsters don't have health bars and cannot be damaged, I cannot jump back on the top to use the platform or call it down.

In addition, monsters don't attack me and "Portals are disabled here"...

Second this, I skipped the elevator with ball lightning + lightning warp. Strange thing is the original pack of mobs dont seem to notice you at all and dont activate however mobs off screen can still damage you despite you not being able to damage them.

happened to me too. fkng annoying trying to undestand why tf i couldnt damage them

Not sure if intended, I think not but I had the the mob Swiftmaul immune to ranged attacks after he got down to ~80% health.
