Ritual Arena is too small.

Having so many narrow layouts, objects and map shapes, Ritual Arena feels smaller than a baby's crib, also with body blocking you can't move anywhere, ritual also summons various damaging abilities which you need to move or die. But there is no space to move between monsters, objects, ritual altar itself and the small arena.

The arena needs to be much larger.
It would be a great addition, after you activate ritual, the altar hovers at air until you kill mobs, so you don't get body blocked by altar too.

Yeah, I've encountered rituals in jungle and tunnel maps, and the ritual circle usually has nearly half of its area blocked by map objects such as trees or walls. And then a fkin blood wave or blood Tornado is taking up another 25% of the circle, leaving the player a tota of 25% of the arena to survive in. GG unless you can 1 shot everything.

Small area plus objects and map blocks and mechanics that wants you to move arround. Sometimes you have less then 30% of the ritual area free to move.

feels really bad to fight in rituals, constantly stuck in corners or between enemies with no real way out.

I have yet to successfully complete a Ritual map, and I've attempted at least 10 now. Usually it's: Start Ritual encounter -> watch Ritual area effect start (last one was a giant tornado) -> Get body blocked and/or stuck on terrain geometry while trying to clear/get away from Ritual effect -> Die.

I've not had an issue with any other map mechanic so far (at least as far as getting stuck and dying goes), and can clear maps and bosses ok, just not Ritual.
yea ritual spawning in the worst possible location making it really small and 99% you get body blocked by monster all the time.

Narrow layouts with certain mechanics that require you to move (e.g. tornados) are almost certain death with no counterplay other than totally ignoring the ritual

Not only is this true, what blows my mind is that Expedition (the act of doing them, not the rewards necessarily) feels even BETTER than before :D
