Player action speed could be quicker

By action speed here I mean cast/attack times, not the stat with that name.

Overall I do not mind it massively, but I think the game would feel smoother, while still keeping its identity, if base attack/cast speeds of skills were increased by 10-15% on average.

Not even that, I've been mostly playing with spells and quarterstaff skills and I still think everything the player does could be a tad quicker. Not by much, but enough to feel it subconsciously. (so 10-15% would work best, I think)

In a way I do like certain skills not being affected by attack/cast speed as much, in theory, because it can encourage setups that don't stack as much of those stats (if you're using Comet, for example, that skill isn't penalized as hard by not having cast speed), but the base attack/cast time (regular cast/attack time + added time on the skill) should still be a bit lower.

The wildest experience for me is using Minions' skills, and both your character and your minion needs to cast it. They could make it instant for the character which you wouldn't see any animation and just minion doing the special attack animation.
I agree, the attack animations take WAY to long. to have it slow your movement speed for so long at the end of the dodge roll animation is counter intuitive as well. Why would I dodge roll when I can walk out of the way faster as soon as i get movement speed boots? The dodge roll needs to feel free flowing. When I roll, I shouldn't have slowed movement speed.... otherwise, movement boots + regular movement is better.

Also, I don't know how many times I've been stuck in an attack animation and unable to dodge things...

I'm trying really hard to like this game.. but failing ONE dodge roll on a boss fight 3/4 the way through and getting one shot is not fun... Having to kite packs of white mobs, is not fun. If you were actually rewarding players for how challenging you are making it than I would be playing and not pissed off. Finding 1/2 blue items per zone, 0 rares, and MAYBE some crafting currency is rediculous. Nobody liked ruthless, please turn off ruthless mode.
