PoE2 - 2nd Trial (Ultimatum) Needs Balancing

After trying many times at level 38 (monster level) and being utterly destroyed. I got some 'upgrades' and just went back at 44 to give it 5-7 tries.
With so little gear dropping & thus difficulty in getting any meaningful level of resists (i'm currently 35min-51max across Light/Fire/Cold) the punishments in the 2nd Trial are just too much, in my opinion.
It's not fun, or rewarding. It's pure RNG as to how punishing your choices will be & if you'll be able to complete, at all, at an appropriate level (I'm sure at 60+ I could go back and just walk through it ... but why is it making us wait until we just out-level the trial?).

I'm playing Infernal Minions, with reasonable gear & support gems for the stage of the campaign I'm in.

I've been thoroughly enjoying the challenge of the boss fights but this #2 Trial (Ultimatum) is really not rewarding, or challenging, it's just purely unfair & overtuned.

I hate ultimatum and was really upset to see that it is now required content. Way overtuned and punishing, for some builds much more than others. Bad rewards and overly harsh penalties for the amount of gear we have at the level we need to do the trial.

Ultimatum is my most hated content in all of PoE1 that I always skip every time I see it and block it in map tree. I'm so hugely against it being part of the core game of PoE2. Just straight up delete it please. XD

Ascendacy in general seems to have picked my most disliked stuff in PoE1 and made it mandatory since I never did Sanctum either.

I was just starting to be like, ya okay, omega slow poe. Different game. Alright. Then Trialmaster : Ultimatum and yeah. Impossible. It is clear you guys do not want us to play this. I know Chris's tricks. This is a trick.
In addition, if you're playing multiplayer on this trial you can't resurrect teammates but the trial continues. Which means now there are players who have to wait for their friends to finish? Like who thought of this??? Either kill the entire party if someone goes down or allow resurrections. Especially since it's ridiculously easy to get one shot by something you didn't even see.
I was having fun up until this point. Skipping for now.
Seriously! I bashed my head against this "content" and got hard stuck in round 2 each time so I went and leveled, worked on survivability, and came back at level 45. I made it to round three finally but who's idea was it that turning in one of these cores locks you into an animation while enemies can still attack and kill you? Why are enemies constantly spawning around me when I have to basically stand there and take it? Between the honor BS absolutely demolishing melee characters and this insanity I have to wonder what the third trial is, are you just going to shut off my computer every time I attempt it?

I think any feature or hurdle or aspect of a game should be tempered with a simple question before it is implemented: is this fun?
I have gotten stuck so many times now. I'll fight a boss a fee times, that's fine. But I don't want to have to do the same fights 20 or 30 times because the difficulty is set way to high. This game is starting to be way more tedious than fun at this point. Why not have difficulty levels like every other decent game. Than everybody is happy. So dumb
Even Sanctum is more "fun" than this pile of refuse O_o
