You have ordered: Lord of Ogham Supporter Pack <<Purchased <<Check Under https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account/early-access :I can confirm: Your account will be allowed to log in and play during Path of Exile 2 Early Access. <<Check Path of Exile 2 Steam Client Key << Yes I have a Steam Key and I have redeemed it. Does not link to the right account, can not enter Primary email address. Path of Exile 2 Epic Client Key : as of 10.12.2024 <<I have Key here also, when I redeem through Epic - I get Error Code 4046 <<I'm in Australia. Epic Account will not let me add POE 2 to wish list... Epic games the issue? Cleared Epic Cache - no change. Can not log in outside Epic/Steam because you need a primary email address, both Epic and steam wont let you add this. Any ideas? Last bumped on Dec 10, 2024, 10:39:56 AM

" I don't get it, if you bought the EA directly one POE.com it's on your account already, you don't need Steam or Epic, they don't provide any more keys, just the launcher. If you have multiple accounts, just log in to the correct on on the Standalone launcher. Pardon my english, I'm French :p

The issue is I logged in through Epic on the POE website, and made the purchase. In doing this the Epic "handle" populated the secondary login. No "primary" login details exist, no email exists, just my username.
The question you may ask then is why not "connect it"? << Add an email to the primary account field...well when I try that, I get "You cannot add this login method to this account." It also says "The email on the account you want to merge must be verified to complete this process" in smaller text under the previous statement, but the Epic handle holds the details and as I mentioned, no email exists in the Primary login. Does that make sense? Like a boot loop. Can not use the Standalone Launcher because no primary email. The Epic logon badge in the main page will log you in but something is broken between POE and Epic authentication process. If support would only add my email :) Thank you for your reply. |

" Ok it looks like you already have a POE.com account using email/password. Maybe a super old account, some people for example have an old account from beta of POE1 that they never used after since the release on steam, making the same kind of issue you have. So maybe you can try to connect using your usual email just to see if an old account exist somehow. Also, maybe you can try to put a different email than the one you're trying to add to your account as primary connection? Pardon my english, I'm French :p SSF for the win! you nailed it, thank you.
POE1 unverified account, changed the email, verified, used STD email for POE2, was able to add Primary log on email, then PW and in. Appreciate you assistance on this. |
