Mercenary - Firing Delay after reloading/rolling or "shooting" blanks

Im a new POE player, I tried a few times to play POE1 and it just never stuck. POE2 though? Its honestly exactly what I wanted. I'm about half way through Act 2, I figured out a fun little setup for the Merc which I am really enjoying from a mechanics perspective, however, I am fast starting to think I should reroll to another class and come back to merc later purely because of the Merc just locking up and not firing after reloading or rolling, or my favorite, firing blanks. I've tried on MKB and Controller and this behavior is the same regardless.

Fighting the Count/Wolf boss dude in act1 and his minions during his frost storm attack thing frustrated the hell out me because of all the not-shooting I was doing and eventually just resorted to whittling them all down with grenades instead which took forever


Honestly just fixing this bug (assuming its a bug and not a feature) would drastically improve the QOL of this class and make it infinitely more fun to play.

That's true. The class is still incredibly strong though and worth playing.
+1 for this! Glad I am not the only one who noticed. I thought I was going a bit insane.
