Aftershock support with Falling Thunder - why doesn't it work??

Hi, I'm enjoying PoE2 I'm sorry if many of you aren't. The only vexing thing for me right now is why Falling Thunder doesn't seem to work with Aftershock support (20% chance for slams to activate twice)

I have used it dozens of times now and it just doesn't do anything! Is this intentional??

You require power charges in order to fire the lightning projectiles forwards from the impact. To replenish power charges, you need to use skills or abilities that specifically generate power charges, typically by dealing damage to enemies, triggering specific effects on your character, or utilizing gear with power charge generation properties; essentially, you need to actively fight and perform actions that are designed to build up power charges while you play.
Still not able to see any aftershocks on Falling Thunder. Consuming power charges doesnt seem to make a difference. Only thing I can think of is it not being treated as a slam unless is consumes power charges, and then the after shock also trying to consume power charges.

Hoping this interaction gets either clarified or bug fixed
Main Hand Aftershock chance proply apair on skill description but dont proc after skill use of falling thunder independent with or without power charge. Plz fix!
Using Aftershock II and the Titan 25% Aftershock chance ascendancy for 60% chance total - not triggering any aftershocks.

Aftershock chance is tied to the projectile in gem info, odd - I've tried chance to not consume power charges but still see no aftershocks, it's just broken. Please fix!
Can confirm, I noticed the same issue. Falling Thunder has the "slam" tag, and it does indeed trigger the Warrior totem effects that trigger off of slam. But with the Aftershock support gem (I'm using Aftershock II), it never seems to repeat the slam, whether I activate it with power charges or without. I've been running around with it for about half an hour, using it on multiple packs of enemies, and it has never triggered (should be a 35% chance).

Or, if it is triggering, there is no visible effect; and I've never seen anything take "delayed" damage from my Falling Thunder since adding the support gem.
Same problem, building a Titan Falling Thunder Hollow Palm and my first ascendency points (Earthbreaker) don't trigger Aftershocks on Falling Thunder despite its "Slam" tag. It does work with Vaulting Impact.
Yes, can confirm.
