Loot Drop Rate

The design of loot is fantastic, but loot drop rate is underwhelming. Bosses should have slightly better drop table for obtaining rare items (yellows). At minimum, blue chests should have guaranteed drop of 1 magic item and yellow chests should have guaranteed drop of 1 rare item (if change is problem, reduce number of chests accordingly). Seeing a rare chest should be exciting! During playthrough, vendors gave me some of my best items (which is great), but give same opportunity for bosses and chests. This change would smooth out player progression and consistently reward players with more usable items.

Yeah, I don't really know how a blue or yellow chest cannot contain at least of a matching colour item. Who the hell thought it shouldn't?

" That's a good point, but again, with item rarity, suddenly even blue chests have a high drop rate for rare things like uncut gems. I think they are trying to make item rarity more valuable in general so it's just a stat anyone would love a little of, not something you purely only stack to magic find. |

Agreed, color chests should contain atleast one guaranteed drop from the same color.

Bump 100% agree - need more gold and more drops. Heck in early acts we're running around places covered in gold plates and vases and everything but chests are dropping single digits!!

With this amount of loot scarcity blue/yellow chests should drop at least one blue/yellow item. |
