Life Remnants witch ascendency not working with Vitality support gem

When you have life Remnants from the witch ascendency and put the Vitality support gem on it even if you have 20 spirit it says you don't have enough spirit.

Although not displayed in the description for Life Remnants, it appears to be behaving as if the Ascendency Skill itself does reserve Spirit (or has a multiplier?), although it is not displayed as such in the skill description and does not reduce your Spirit Shown (does not textually appear to reserve spirit by default in either location).

Moving around supports on the Persistent Buffs I have active produces odd results. Comparing moving around Herbalism, Cannibalism, Vitality, and Clarity between Withering Presence and Life Remnants, different configurations work and don't work, although all of these buffs have flat Spirit costs. (For instance, I can split these buff supports 2/2 and they work fine, but I cannot put 3 on Remnants without it displaying an Error on Life Remnants, regardless of the Shown Spirit Used being the same and their shown flat cost).

If you would please look into this it would be most appreciated, it seems to be either a bug or a display error.
