Issue with controller & stash

The controller was working perfectly the other day, i have not changed anything but all the sudden when u se Y to deposit it now drops items, how do i fix this? i can no longer use y to deposit it now only drops the items when trying to put stuff into my stash, again i did not change anything, this has some how changed on its own?

I just had this the first time when i reached the ultimatum quest in act 3. The stash doesnt accept the y button and just drops items on the ground.

Yeah, so it must be related to that zone and chest, cause i noticed when i was in the main town of that act, i could stash items with Y again.

stashes outside of towns do not allow fast stash, they drop to the floor, so far up to act 3 there were i believe 3 stashes, hooded one, start of act 3 and sanctum

I have also experienced this, in A3. Pressing 'Y' drops on the ground.

Simply put, any stash that are in a zone that allows dropping items will not let you quick move items while interacting with said stash.

Seems to be a contextual issue where "Drop Item" is prioritised over "Quick move"

I am running into this issue too, i move a bunch of things from inventory with Y since this is move to stash button then realize it dropped all my items on the ground instead. Giving that we have no way to use our mouse to manage inventory when playing controller, this problem is a significant issue. Right now it's more time effective to teleport to a different act to store items then teleport back to act you are on, that is not fun. We been asking this for years now, why can't we have option to stay on Keyboard/mouse UI and play with controller but do all menu's and inventory management with mouse? So many other games do this without issue

I've got this issue as well with the Xbox controller on PC.

I'm a little surprised to see controller & keyboard/mouse can't be used together like all the other modern arpgs. I find mouse to be easier input when i'm in town and controller for the combat. I'm not sure why they have to be so exclusive in this game.
