Feedback about item affixes
One of my biggest annoyances is the fact that affix tiers have been numbered the opposite to POE1, where a Tier 1 affix was the best possible roll of that affix. In POE2 the Tier 1 affix is the worst possible roll. This means that unless I know how many tiers there are of a certain affix, and most affixes have a different number of tiers, I have absolutely no idea how close to good my item is, because the reference point (Tier 1) is the worst possible roll.
This means that without extra information all I know is how close to my item is to being the worst possible. Please for the love of god revert it back to Tier 1 being the highest roll of an affix so our reference point is the best possible version of the item. Last bumped on Dec 17, 2024, 10:58:09 AM

I think it's fine this way because it makes more sense that a higher tier means better.
That's the case in any other game, and that's the case with Maps too! I think they could say "Tier 7 (max)" on the item to fix this issue. Cheers! |

nope, lets say you get t8 thinking its close to max...max is tier 12 for life on chest

Have they replied about this anywhere? This is the part I hate the most now. Feel like GGG forcing me to use something like POEdb 100 times more often than POE1.
