Merge accounts problem

Hi,

I made an account before starting to play and then logged in through steam and it didn't request an account, so I think it created another one. Later it asked me to merge them, and I confirmed. I have in game 300 paid credits from the Steam purchase, but they don't appear on the website. In addition, I linked my Twitch account to my website account and redeemed the 2 drops, but it didn't appear in game for me even though on the website the accounts are linked.

Also, I just noticed that my website account doesn't show my character.

I believe these 2 problems might be connected and would appreciate your help.

First of all, POE2 characters doesn't appear on the website yet, so this is normal.

For the main issue, you have then made 2 accounts, and 1 has all your previous transactions/coins and the other one is "empty".
You should be able to swap between them, on the website and IG.
If you can switch between the 2 accounts when logged then they are considered as subaccounts probably. In that case, you can launch the game and switch subaccounts In Game (same as on the website) to select the one with all your microtransactions and play from there.

Hope it will work for you, otherwise need to wait like most of us, and with their email system bugged/full. (4days+ and still waiting for myself for an unlink basic feature...)

If you already started a character on the wrong account, I suggest you to go to the one with your cosmetics and reroll directly.
Not sure the support will help you to transfer any cosmetics or characters for one account to the other and even if they do, it will take a long time as they are flooded by requests now..
By the time you got an answer, you would already level a new character.

Also to help you, you can ask someone to help to transfer your stuff from your first character to the new one.. at least it will make it easier and faster to progress.

I am facing the same issue and I dont think they will solve it in priority since there are more pressing issues.
We could help each other out however....trust is key :D
My poe2 stuff is basic..but i would still like to have them on my main a/c instead of the secondary one.
