Map size is far too big

Dealing with it in campaign isnt so bad knowing I only have to do it every few leagues so it wasnt really an issue until I got to maps. Every map being massive is just a chore, taking up to 10 minutes to finish a map while slowly walking accross it and backtracking to find the rare mob u randomly missed feels awful. Ontop of that covering 90% of that map after a long time just to die and lose the map feels so so bad. Waystone aquisition seems really off aswell, costing 5k gold from doryani for a white tier 1 map is so expensive early and it halts you so much.
I think a few things could be done here like: - Reduce map size by atleast 50% - Bring 6 portals back - Have a d3 rift kill system so everything you kill adds towards completion I think any one of these would make mapping so much better in its current state + while upping drop rates on waystones. Everything else is prty solid but I really really cant stand maps in this current system. Other than that everything else is rly cool ty ggg xoxo Last bumped on Dec 9, 2024, 2:13:08 PM
