PSN & PC key redeem

Hi Guys,

I have a technical question related to early access key redeeming. My friend is a big fan and he encouraged me to play with him the EA for PoE2. I bribed him to get the Vaal supporter pack so he can have an additional key to redeem for me (that's what the website said to do :D). The thing is he’s playing on PC while I use PS5 and he got the supporter pack for PC obviously. The key he shared with me seems to be not working for me - when I tried to redeem it I got a message that “this key is not applicable for my account”, I was logged in with my PSN account and don’t have any other, not even a PC to play on. Is there any chance to use his code and cross play with him on my PS5? We don’t want to lose that one :(

EDIT: I added my old Steam acc, and finally I was able to reedem the code - during that I was asked for which plafromt I would like to redeem it, so I picked PLAYSTATION and went for it. Unfortunately, when I'm on my PS5 I cannot download it, it still asks to pay for the new pack :( HELP
