Losing 2nd ascendancy coin

I was attempting the coin of byra trail. At the last boss and lost all my honor and died as the boss died as well I even saw loot drop but I was dead. When i tried to get another coin from the npc there was no option. I tried to defeat The Watchful Twins again to see if it would drop but it didn't. Now I' stuck at 2 ascendancy points.

I am in a similar situation. I used my 2nd coin and defeated the trail boss, but didnt click on the ascendency shrine thing to actually give me the passives. Now, im back at the beginning with no coin and no way to progress with ascension.

dropped mine in cruel (in clearfell) to test loot filter and it poofed
