Rust King: quest missing due to dying king dying while respawn selection

Hi there,

Playing witch on ps5.
I died during the Rust King encounter (third obelisk of rust).
While confirming to respawn at checkpoint king died ( probably because of my minions) and I heard and saw the king dropping items.
When I went back after respawn there were no items. Because of this the final quest item is missing
The obelisk is cleared an inactive so I can’t restart encounter.

Same experience here on pc playing as monk. Due to the bug i am unable to progress in the campaign.
