POE2 Character Deleted after Linking Xbox Account?

Hi,
I just linked my Microsoft Account on the POE site to my main account (Ziggybee#4121) that was already associated with Steam (I used it to play POE1 without any issue). I started a POE2 character on Steam last Friday and played it until this Morning (Monday) without issue. Then, I linked the Microsoft Account just to be able to crossplay and my POE2 character on PC got deleted? When I started POE2 on Steam it just replayed the startup animation and let me create a new character. After doing so, I tried to exit to character selection but my older character is not there? " Don't you have a second account, different that Ziggybee#4121 ? so 2 subaccounts that you can swap? Can see people having similar issue: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3592728/page/4 Some have 2 subaccounts so they can switch between them on the Website and In game as well.
