Bug - quiver not supported even when wearing a bow

I received a legendary quiver from a colleague.
After putting it on it shows: "You cannot use this item. Its stats will be ignored." Issue is I am wearing a bow, so it should be supported, but it is not. Platform: Steam Class: Ranger Really sad as the offhand and its stats are quit important for the Ranger. Additional information: Also other clievers shows me the same notification now (magic & rare show the same notification). Last bumped on Dec 25, 2024, 2:45:00 AM

I guess maybe it is because the item comes from a Warrior where the item really is not supported.
And updating the item status is buggy? | |

I have this issue now. I am lvl 39 Ranger/DeadEye, and I can't get the stat bonus from my lvl 26 quiver nor any other quivers I've stashed away. It says "You cannot use this item. Its stats will be ignored." The quiver is "red" but I can still equip it but I gain non of the stats. I've checked my char stat screen to see if it was a visual bug, but My stats never changed. Unlike other pieces of gear, quiver does not tell you if it requires a certain amount of dex. int. or str. and I should have way than enough dex.
Also un-equipped all of my skills and still can't use a quiver. I've tried different armor pieces. Nothing. Platform: Steam |

Facing the same problem with my L25 ranger.
I have tried 4 different bows and 3 different quivers. All quivers are now red in my inventory like I don't meet a requirement to equip them, though, I can actually equip it. When I do I get the message "You cannot use this item. Its stats will be ignored" Just like Smex, I also unequipped all of my skills, and all of my other gear, and I cannot get this message to disappear. Yea, It's definitely a bug I think, because I've un-equipped all skill gems which requirements was already met, I've ditched all my armor and weapons for equipment from the first town in act 1 and still had the issue. I also had the un-armed fist passive skill gem that can't be remove instead of the regular bow passive skill gem.
I've managed to fix the bug, maybe by mistake, but what I did was I went into an instance with the bow and quiver un-equipped, then I equipped the bow and fired it which switch it back to the bow passive skill, and all a sudden my quivers were green again without the ""You cannot use this item. Its stats will be ignored"" red text. Then I just re-equipped all my old gear and put my skills back in place. It's not even a don't have enough dex.int.str issue in my opinion, because I've taken some of my other skill points from damage nodes to put in into the nodes that give the +5 stat points and that didn't help either, so try what I did to get the quiver working again until they can fix it. |

Have the same issue. Saw somewhere else someone mention this was connected to using a gamepad, and could be "fixed" by logging in with mouse and keyboard, then relogging again with gamepad.
But I'm playing on console, so can't do that. My build is heavily reliant on the quiver, with the quiver passives. I managed to reproduce the bug on demand Steps to reproduce: 1. Bow in weapon slot 1 with quiver, crossbow in weapon slot 2 (note that I have not allocated any weapon set skill points, so that should be unrelated) 2. Go to any instance in the campaign, fire your crossbow (i used explosive shot) then portal to town with the crossbow still "active" That's it, that triggers it every time for me Also does not seem to be related to attribute requirements, the bug also happens when using a bow/quiver that gives zero attributes. But since using any bow skill seems to fix the bug, it might only become a problem if attributes from the quiver are needed for your skills(?) had this issue as well on the PS5 i did solve it by swapping out to the second weapon slots .. just remove and re-equip solves all the time but this should be fixed soon ...

as soon as you use a skill for the secondary tho it will recreate the glitch so its a problem with weapon swapping through skill usage
