Switching chaos wand deletes support gems for chaos blast

If I have “pierce” and “withering” cut and added to chaos blast at say level 6 wand that grants that skill

If I switch to a level 8 chaos blast wand

The support gems are not in my inventory they are just gone and I have to cut them again.


If I have support gems on skeleton minions and switch to a wand with higher skeleton minions those support gems I placed on that skill just appear in my inventory and I don’t need to recut so I assume this is intended and switching chaos blast wands is a bug.

I’ve lost a total of 4 support gems now.
