Chimera fight is truly awful

In the act fight the foliage clutter obscures the cold breath and poison phase. The range of the cold breath is hard to read because parts of it is covered, but the poison phase is completely unmanageable because you cannot see any of it. This results in not being able to capitalize on the vulnerable state when he's knocked off the pillars because you had to run across the entire arena to escape all the scattered caustic ground as a whole. When all the pillars are gone, the poison phase never reoccurs, but he cycles the remaining attacks too fast which results in a non-stop always-moving target that is hard to catch and hit as a slow melee and also impossible to hit with stationary ground skills. Because he cycles so fast, he also cycles to the airborne fire attack more often which makes him invulnerable and drags the fight on excessively.

The Ultimatum Trial fight is just straight-up asinine. The three-tiered arena is a bizarre decision as he cycles between tiers as often as he cycles attack types which makes catching him to apply damage a slog. The permanent burning ground he left on the top tier made that entire section un-enterable, and the permanent chilled ground he left on the middle tier made the back and forth chase even worse.

Way too much clutter on the ground for poison/cold attacks.
agreed. Plus the constant leaving the area and becoming immune to all damage is a very bad design choice

The fact that you can also damage the pillars for about the 1/2 second he stands on them that you aren't dodging (or that he literally stands on them full stop) is _also_ a very bad design choice.

Honestly, this is the first boss in PoE2 where I've actually thought the mechanics were just crap.

[EDIT] Never mind, not the shittiest designed boss fight. That would be the corrupted whatever it's name is in the trial you get from the chimera. Good gods that that is a _TERRIBLE_ boss that should never have passed QA.

I have two different complaints.
1. When you try to destroy the pillar without Chimera there is no indication that they can be destroyed. So it took me two more fights to see that they can be destroyed but only when chimera is on them. - This should be more clear in some way.

2. Ice breath have very big area and the area isn't clear so it's harder to dodge.
