Ascent to power bugged

Ascent to power bugged in act 2 cruel, character is hard stuck and cant continue to maps because of it

+1 on this issue also on act 2 cruel, state of quest is: search for more information on the barya but there is nothing to be found.

Same problem here.
Not hard stucked but i already killed balaboa 3 times yet the quest persists

Same problem here. I am not sure if it is related, but for some reason I had access to cruel act2 even before finishing normal act3. Now when I try to teleport to Trial of the Sekhemas (the mob level for the area is shown as lvl 22 which is way too low for cruel act2), I am teleported to normal act2 and the quest "Ascent to Power" says to "Search Traitor's Passage". I am assuming this is a prompt for me to find the boss which unlocks the trials, however I killed him 2 times yet the quest doesn't progress.

Hey everyone,

I've encountered the same issue in Act 2 Cruel with the "Ascent to Power" quest. My character is completely stuck and I can't progress to maps because of it. Here's what's happening:

I've tried resetting the instance and clearing the zone multiple times, but the quest won't update.

I've killed the required boss several times, yet the quest persists without progressing.

In my case, there are no available quests at all, which is making it impossible to move forward.

It seems like this is a common problem affecting several players. Has anyone found a workaround or solution for this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've tried entering trial through cruel act teleport however it takes me to act 2 normal trial

Not sure if related or not but I have the same issue with trials of chaos made sure I undertook the trial with at least a lvl 60 ultimatum, I will attempt to walk into the temple of chaos incase the temple of chaos button on the side of the map teleported me to normal for some reason and try it again but ultimatums/djinns are pretty rare so I can only troubleshoot this so much.
I can't really do anything else with the ascent to power bug though, I can't actively walk to the trial since the destination never shows up on the desert map after traitor's passage just like everyone else here

When I finished either of these the second time, I reached the end and got no further ascendancy points

I have exact the same problem.
i finished the trial on act 3 multiple times. All on 60+ and never got the ascendancy points 5 and 6.
i wasnt able to talk to the trialmaster and got ported to act 3 on normal mode as soon as i left.
The quest that i have to beat the trial is still up and dont get updated
