Unable to access "endgame" town after leaving zone to trade friend. Anyone else experienced this?

Hi I will try to make a detailed bug report about this but I first wanted to know if anyone knew a way to fix my character. Here goes:

So I was clearing a map with an expedition encounter on it, after completing the expedition I teleported out to refill flasks and lost all of the portals, so decided to teleport to a friend and trade an exalt over. After leaving his group and trying to return to the "Endgame" camp through a waypoint, I simply can't teleport anywhere. On my Act 3 map the main town and all of the relevant zones are marked as (Past), and when returning to the town I am in the Past timeline version and neither Doryani or Alva are present, and there is nowhere to go or do. I have also re-cleared The Black Chambers and killed Dorayni again, but there are no prompts with him, just an empty text box. I also have no active quests to be clear. Please god tell me some one knows how I can return to endgame. Ty

Answer: It appears at the bottom of the act 3 (cruel) map, below the Ziggurat Encampment. Named "The Ziggurat Refuge".
