Around 30 hours in, I got exhausted.

It was really fun for about first 10 hours of the experience. To the point where I recommended this game to old PoE vets. But past 10 hours or so, I started getting bored and think "Will it get better?" until I finally got exhausted.
Most of all, I liked that combat was more methodical and engaging with bosses. Beating Geonor for example felt like an accomplishment. But everything else is just awful. The amount of effort increased drastically meanwhile the rewards decreased drastically. There's just nothing to be excited about, hence the exhaustion. Most shocking thing to me was when I encountered the rare that drained mana, as a caster. There was nothing I could do about it at all. I think at that point is when I realized that GGG devs have lost the plot with PoE2. There is simply no reason to include anything that obnoxious. And just a little after that, I got to deal with the fun mechanics of Sanctum, removing any fleeting doubt about GGG losing the plot. It's quite ironic. I waited for PoE2 for quite some time and was so excited to finally be able to play it. The last thing I expected was that it would make me want to play PoE1 instead, but that's what happened. I feel the same I am about to maps. The problem is it takes way to long. I use to love watching races in poe. That's not going to be a thing in poe2. Loot? what's that? I am still using a level 6 minion weapon on my level 60 :p crafting currency does not even drop.

" I think you get enough crafting currency to *attempt* one craft every act. At least that's how mine has worked out. If only we only had one item we needed to equip, this might be reasonable! |

How do you have a problem with this particular rare as a caster? You can't kite at all?
" Probably has Haste, which does make it extremely difficult to kite given the total lack of mobility skills in poe2. You can try to CC it, but also hard against a beefed up rare mob depending on your build. |
Ah, if that's the case - restart the instance. I've never seen one with haste yet, so they must be extremely rare.
" Not that rare, especially the further in you get. There's also ones with haste aura. Nasty business. On its own, just a bit scary and maybe even fun. Combine with mana drain? Yikes. |

I can tank them. Plus most crossbow skills have inherent knockback anyway. And, of course, my build is physical/stun based, so they get on their asses in 2-3 hits tops.
