2 leap slam bugs

Sometimes leap slap stops working and i have to take the skill out and put it back in to keep jumping not sure if the second one is a bug but sometimes leap slam doesnt go to cursor and jumps to a random enemy Last bumped on Apr 1, 2025, 3:01:38 PM

I ran into the second bug, too. Approx 1 in 20 Leap Slams does not target the cursor, but a random enemy. This is a skillbreaking bug. When it happens, it very often teleports you right into a pack and kills you.

Hello,
Same here Leap Slam stop working randomly, getting ou of my map and re-enter and the problem is gone. I don't see any debuff on me, and have maces on my 2 weapon sets. It happenned to me 5 times in 2 days. Support gems are : Martial Tempo + Holy Descent |

I also have the same issue with leap slam getting disabled. It most likely is caused by a movement related debuff, although i didn't manage to catch which one.

I am also getting affected by this bug.
It seems to be whenever i get "tangled / bound" when i cannot leap slam (even after the debuff has warn off) I can "fix" it by using a town portal and coming back, and bam works again until i get tangled / bound again. This is happening to me in the Grelwood in act 1 cruel difficulty. |

2nd issue is not 1 in 20 probability. It happens way more often when close combat.
Looks it's an auto targetting issue, ofc I'm not happy about leap + kb&m auto targetting at all, if it is. It shouldn't be handled as a lower priority issue, IMO. https://youtu.be/9reCsw-cRzs |

I'm encountering the same issue. Leap slam stops working in the middle of a map.

Usually there is a logical explanation and I can figure it out. But this one has me thinking it's a bug. I have 2 similar maces equipped. Leap slam works fine on both for some of the map. Then all of a sudden my weapon set 2 will not leap slam. I have no debuffs or anything. The leap slam skill is not grayed out on skill screen. The only fix while in map seems to be to take the leap slam gem out and put it back in. But this is a temp fix as usually it will stop working again. I'd bet it has to do with weapon swapping. That's when it rears its head. I'll use mace strike (which forces weapon swap to weapon set 1) and sometime therafter Leap slam stops working again on weapon set 2. It will continue to function on weapon set 1. Both maces have similar stats. Requirements for all the support gems are met with both maces. Strange |

It's still happening now. I set up the Leap Slam on the 2nd slot weapon. Firstly, using the 1st weapon, when get stun from Heart Tethers tribulation in Trial of Chaos, I cannot auto swap to use the Leap Slam on 2nd slot again. Need to re-apply the Leap Slam skill gem to use it normally again.
