Performance issue related to FX (GPU)

Hey,
I noticed huge performance drops playing with the sorceress, when spawning multiple fire / electricty skills. The same happens with elites, when they have electric aura affix, or that kind of FX heavy effect (big AoE in boss arenas also). Deactivating GI, lowering lights count to minimum... helps a bit, but don't fix it completely. Do you plan to add an option that would reduce the cost of FX on the GPU? For context, using an RX 6700 with a resolution of 1440p, I have solid 70 - 90 FPS, but it can drop to 25 FPS in those scenarios. Thanks! Last bumped on Dec 13, 2024, 5:03:27 PM

Same deal over here, playing witch and spamming flame walls with skeletal arsonists nukes performance to a degree that should just not happen in this type of game. The game runs at 100-90 frames usually with my setup at 1080p.
Flame walls alone can slash 30 frames away by just being there on an empty screen. This has all been compounded in the

Most common fights will either run fine or chug down to 40-50 fps with the flame walls in play (with dynamic resolution doing its very best to hold the line). I noticed this would be an issue when the flamethrower spell would take the framerate down to 50-60 frames on its own when held for a while. I appreciate how pretty the fire effects are, but I'd much rather not have to change my build so I can experience smooth gameplay. So either lowering the performance cost of FX or giving the players a setting to allow reducing their visual fidelity for performance would be appreciated. same here.... rx 6600xt ryzen 5600x and 32GB RAM.. open world stable 80-120 fps but in fights where everyone cast some spells my fps drop to 25-35... its nearly unplayable after act 2 :(
