Error: Failed to join instance because: Error: failed to join any instances

I can't teleport to town or use waypoints after latest hotfix.

***EDIT: I am able to use some waypoints, but not all. Backing out of the game, then logging back in helped. Can't tell if this is a permanent or intermittent issue.

Exact same issue happened to me twice now. In different acts. Making a portal again, i was able to enter that one without issue.

I have the same problem. I'm stuck on the map I'm currently at, can't use town portal or waypoints to move elsewhere, tried changing servers also tried restarting the game but the issue persists.

I took a screenshot of the error message:

same, i have 2 chars
1st is in town - cant login
2nd is in act3 map - azak bog <- can login and play in that location but cant tp to town

EDIT: I did poe2 files verification on steam. Can login. Dont know if this helped or something else.

After going to burried shrine act 2, unable to use tp or waypoint, any of them;
Going for a long walk to the caravan at Keth but unable to enter with the error message reported in the topic.

Restarting the game change anything

Same issue here. Ziggerat encampment. standalone version. teleporting or waypoint or door back to town.. No way to make a new instance. Only way to fix is to spam zone from waypoint until it lets me in

Workaround for me, spamming the heck out of the tp portal and waypoint eventually works.

So you're second portal won't always work (I just got luckier those times). But I found if you keep making portals, eventually it will work. Generally will work on portal 2 or 3.
