Warrior EA Feedback [stuns]
|
Hello!
I am currently pushing through act II as a warrior and have played around 12 to 14 hours getting there. There are a few things I wanted to share some feedback about that I've noticed. I initially wanted to level with one-hand & shield, but I ran into some damage problems after I moved through Act I, so I switched to dual wielding after finding a couple good, rare maces. This helped but I feel there are a few things holding stuns back that I think would help. I'm currently still going back and forth between dual wielding and one-hand + shield to make it work, but wanted to provide feedback on the journey so far regarding stunning while playing these tyles. 1.) Additional Stun Threshold from attacks would help against tougher mobs. A lot of the warrior's skills and passives revolve around stunning & immobilizing the enemy. It is incredibly easy to stun white mobs but when comparing freeze ailment buildup to stun, it seems like it's significantly easier to freeze rare & boss mobs than to stun them. I've socketed the support gem that improves stun buildup and taken passives on the skill tree to try and get more stun buildup, but it doesn't seem to be enough. 2.) Stunning Rare mobs seems to not be working correctly. Anytime a rare mob is stunned, it doesn't stay in its stunned state for more than about 1 second, which isn't enough time to capitalize on the stun. Considering how long it can take to stun enemies; the stun should last longer. This doesn't seem to be a problem on bosses since it lasts about 5 seconds, but blue or rare mob stun duration specifically is too short. Additionally, if a mob is infused with an elemental ailment, such as ice or lightning, those skills are not interrupted when being stunned. There have been multiple fights where I've used Bone Shatter to trigger a stun once they're in threshold, and while the stun meter is depleting a lightning storm or ice bomb would go off while I was trying to get some attacks in in the stun window. This is just a short post on these. Maybe someone can point out some ways to help with this, but otherwise I hope it's helpful feedback. Thanks!
