Same problem with "crash" in loading screens (mainly)

Hi!

I keep since Necro Settlers have crashes in both PoE1 and 2 when I am in loading screens. Most of the time whole computer even goes to shit and I have to force a shutdown with button on pc. It would be very appreciated with at least some info on if it might be a game problem or a windows 11 problem as I see people with various pc having a lot of problems with various things now.

CPU: Intel 17 10700k 3.80GHz
Memory: 32gb ddr4
GPU: RTX 3070
Motherboard: MSI z490-A PRO (MS-7C75)

Render: DX12
Vsync: off
Upscale: off
Texture: High, 8x anisotropic filtering
Lighting: Shadows
Shadow Quality: Low
Sun Shadow: low
Number of Lights: Low
Water Detail: Low
Nvidia Reflex: on + Boost
Engine Multithreading: On

The closest I know when I could see something during ne loading screen problem my cpu usage were around 45-48 and memory around 40-45.

While Writing some of my drivers are:
Windows 11: version 24H2 (no I have no back up of earlier to revert)
GPU Drivers: 566.36
Motherboard BIOS: 2.G0 (latest)

I've tried the following:
- limit the CPU for PoE 2 using BES (I've seen less crashes)
- Disabled game setting in Windows settings
- Disabled Nvidia overlay
- Set game to Fullscreen

Some think its AMD process on Win 11 24H2. It probably is only due to Win 11 24H2 because Microsoft acknowledged an issue with Ubisoft games causing computer crashes, which they've stopped offering the update if it detects you have them installed. Some people said they've downgraded by to 23H2, and it helped but, like you I can't downgrade unless I reinstall Win 11.

Now I'm going to try this suggestion, which was suggested for lagging.

Above fix did not work. Immediately after I made this change, I crashed.

Same here on an 7800x3d - 4070ti. Maxes out the CPU on most load screens needing a full system hard reset as I cannot tab out or close it. The whole PC crashes. Really killing my enjoyment when this has happens about 40 times since starting yesterday as it happens most times in loading screens. Especially into a new map.
Same thing on i7 8700k and 4080super.

Edit: What I've now tried, was following the above steps on setting the affinity but I unchecked CPU0 and CPU1, which has to be done each time you run the game. Plus, I limited the CPU to 95 percent using BES. This seemed to have helped the most, I haven't had a freeze in a while.
