UI bug? Feathered Fletching not affected by Acceleration Support Gem

Not sure if this is a UI bug or if the passive notable doesn't work.

Feather Fletching notable:
Increases and reductions to projectile speed also apply to damage with bows

Acceleration Support Gem
Supported skills have 40% more projectile speed


I assume this would give me a 40% damage boost (or SOME damage boost), but the DPS value when applied to Lightning Arrow does not change with the gem attached or removed.

EDIT:
After trying this with and without the support gem attached, I do NOT believe it's a UI bug. It does not appear to be applying to my damage output

Tried it with Gas and Poisonburst arrow, no noticable dmg difference and also none in the tooltip

I think it is bug but there is a thing. Perhaps Increases and Reductions modifications are not considered it this specific definition as More and Less (In PoE modificators have their names - increase is not the same as more for sure, but im not sure reduction is the same as less - they are just doing some mess in descriptions). But on the other hand - on my build with Lightning Arrow, after linking acceleration, in tooltip I have information that my projectiles speed has 86% increase speed modification. I have this notable and I would like to have this 86% increased Bow att dmg....

however it can be intended? but why I would like to have less damage on Bow? I understand I could have less projectiles speed for spells but can't imagine how it could work with Bow and Arrows because notable is mentioned for Bows but..... If someone from GGG would say - that this support wont work with this notable and it is intended - I wouldn't even ask more and argue, because - let's be clear. Support that gives you 40% more projectile speed and 40% more att dmg would be OP - compering to other supports in PoE2 which are weak.

however - it is sad, that I pursued this notable spending a lot of skillpoints, believing my intuition that it will work with this support. If its intended that it wont work, I feel like there is lack of information about it.
