Visual Clarity: Forsaken Miner grenades
Hi - I think the red grenades from the Forsaken Miner need more visual and maybe an audio cue. With a sorceress laying down effects on the ground (like Flame Wall) it is almost impossible to see them. Plus, they are often throwing from off-screen, so I did not even see what killed me for a few times. Damage is more than some bosses, when two shotgun its game over. This must be better telegraphed.
The new Rare countdown ground effects would be a positive example of how to make it fair for the player. Last edited by SatanasOz#4229 on Dec 8, 2024, 12:53:22 PM Last bumped on Dec 26, 2024, 12:12:00 PM

I very much agree! The Forsaken Miner grenades are a challenge to see on terrain types other than the gray of their native Act 2 zones, and often blend into or hide behind foliage. I just died to a pile of grenades in a 'Blooming Field'.
Additionally, in the endgame it seems that more than 2 or 3 can spawn together at a time, where only 1 or 2 would spawn in packs in Act 2. They lob grenades from way offscreen. A sound queue for their aggro, throwing, or grenade landing would be appreciated to make interactions with these mobs more 'fair'. Alternately, skip any of these affordances for reaction and tune down the damage or blast radius so that it's less likely you're dead if you miss the tiny sparking cue. |

Strong agree here as well. I'm a sorceress playing frost wall and you cannot see the grenades until they all explode beneath your feet. Whatever solution is come up with, it needs to be visible in front of any other objects created on the ground. Maybe like a bright flare effect when they stop rolling?

Try using eye of winter and firewall and being flashbanged and not being able to see shit. So much of this game is visual pollution.
