POE 2- Exit Dungeon Portals spawning on top of loot

I've come across a very frustrating circumstance in the Mausoleum of the Praetor in which after dealing with multiple crashes and my personal portal vanishing in town, that after defeating the boss and trying to pick up the loot, the exit portal spawned on top of the items. As a result, I've lost the items and the item for the main quest and am only given the option for a new instance to go back in.
