Ascendancy Reroll ASAP please

AS the title says,

we MUST have an ascendancy reroll option. If not in the final game, then in Early Access.

I just, literally, destroyed my build with the Witch by choosing the Blood Ascendancy.
It feels way more like internship designed it and decided to put the "Every mana cost skill will use the same amount of HP" as the FIRST ascendancy there. You can´t go around that one.


This is gamebreaking for me.
I now need to remove the ascendancy points completely to continue playing without dying all the time.


You made the game really hard and then you put in the first node of the blood ascendancy something like this? :D

Honestly cannot believe its not possible to change ascendancy.... Time to start over i guess??

+1 to this big time. I was about to make this same post.

In PoE 1 you could change your Ascendancy by re-running the Labyrinth after having removed all your Ascendancy talent points.

In PoE 2 your Ascendancy is locked in for good from what I can tell thus far, which is unfortunate for players who may have been trying to 'feel' their way through an Ascendancy (without wanting to be XL-sweaty and looking up builds or other feedback around them) and realized maybe they made the wrong choice and want to back out without creating a new character.

GGG - can we please maintain the ability to change Ascendancy like in PoE 1? If not, what is the reasoning this capability was not considered in the sequel?

Thanks for any consideration. Pretty bummed at the moment about having to start again knowing more now about the Ascendancy choices (from my own exploration and consideration) than I did a couple days ago.  I made the assumption that PoE 2 would have a similar mechanism, much to my current dismay.

+ 1 I'm level 43 and I decided to change my build, I discovered that it's not possible to change the ascension and that completely discouraged me from the game, please implement this possibility as soon as possible.

absolutely agree. My ascendancy doesn't go well with the build I ended up going at all and there is no way i will go through the campaign again with the same class just to go different ascendancy. This doesn't help anyone

Changes for bloodmage and chayula will be in the next patch for sure. Im using chayula monk and its indeed garbage, mana leech in a character without any phys skills to leech from, shield gain that requires mana leech, thats the core part of the chayula, unusable at moment.

same for me, i left the game for this, i don't want to restart the game, is my first time in a poe game.... and i think u can try so much combination ecc... but after i discover u CAN'T DO NOTHING about your ascendence is very FRUSTRATING....
at the beginning of the game, u don't have guide to follow, nothing... for the first time player beacuse, not all player ARE VETERAN AND PLAY FOR 1242347847 YEARS...
i hope their change their mind and give a possibilities to change and try so many build and stuff.... theri nerf build every day, then u have to restart every time your pg because u don't have the respect of your point ? 2024 pls GGG think about that
