I am playing a witch. I used mine in act I already for the wrong thing instead of Raging Spirits. Where can I get a new gem?

Ahh, since they seem to be rare. is it worth starting over or is it not a big deal?

I just rolled a Sorc and killed the boss again, didn't take long second time around - mainly because i wasn't relying on the minions so stuff died a lot faster.
