Town portal in the sanctum chamber

So I don´t know if this is intended or not, but after 3h and 4 tries I finally manages to do the trial and in the last chamber, I porrted to town to make space in the inventory.
Turns out, you can´t go back from there, the portal isn´t usable any more. That sucks because now I have to do it again AND threw away stuff I needed while sorting my inventory for picking it up after selling stuff.

I noticed there was a stash in the chamber, but I didn´t expect I need to use it to store my stuff here.

Would be better if the town portal wouldn´t work in the chamber so that people loose all their time.

In PoE1, you were given a portal in tye final chamber of the labyrinth. Once you left, you couldn't return. It trained you to do two main things: Rush for the ascendency device and choose one fast, don't leave until you picked your ascendency, loot be damned, font device thing, nobody cares. Lab was a disliked mechanic, now it's apparently worse if what I saw in the trailers hold true. More than enough players crashing in the final chambers and losing their attempt. Your fight isn't over until you picked your class, don't trust the GGG to add a way to let you return and to change from their lab design.

Still at the end of the day, I can't really relate to this yet as I haven't gotten there but given how nightmareish the game is in terms of difficulty for a PoE1 player, I can't do anything but agree that crashes is something they should have prepared for in these rooms. Also if using the portal didn't give any warning that you won't be able to return, then I'm pretty sure D3 and/or D4 already has a solution for this, a warning message. Not to be underestimated and disregarded. I have a lot of history with lack of proper warnings making me lose something.

Ahh thanks for giving me insight, never played that mode in poe1.

Ye a warning would fix most of the problem, but I guess now I know what happens :D
