Titan's Treasure Quest location is bugged

When I go to the Titan's Grotto to do the Titan's Treasure Quest, there is a checkpoint where you can walk onto a petrified giant who has a giant dagger stuck in it's throat. I'm assuming that this is supposed to be the quest area bc I've checked the whole zone several times and found nothing else (also it seems a little weird for there to be a checkpoint in a dead-end). Could this be fixed? Also, if I'm wrong, can someone please tell me how to find the location?

same issue here, fully cleared Titan's Grotto, killed the boss at the end but no treasure quest to be found.
There is also nothing at the petrified giant, seems bugged.
