Act I feels really bad, Act II and III are the best gameplay i'v ever had

Playing as a Monk.

Act I is sluggish, slow and too difficult. Unless you find really good gear very early on it's just not all that much fun. I died 25 times in the first Act, and I'm not the worst player to ever play this game. The start of Act II was also a struggle. Balbala took me 9 minutes to defeat. And that's after I already died 5 or 6 times to her. So that fight too me about 30 minutes. I was ready to uninstall, but I wanted to finish the game and supply GGG with some feedback.

Then I crafted a very good weapon and changed my passive tree to have more attack speed. I figured I could get the combo's better with better attack speed. And boy, did that completely change the game for me. I could now kill bosses while in melee range, make awesome combinations and feel really powerful while still having that challenge. I did have to use something like 6 exalts to make it happen, but well worth it.

The start of Act III is simply the best gameplay I've ever had, and it's blowing my mind how I can make all these great combinations with skills. I feel like I'm a martial artist. Absolutely mindblowing.

So personally I think you should tone down the difficulty in Act I (by quite a bit). And if there's like 25% more loot that's dropped you can have a better chance of having a great experience.

Some other feedback:
- It's impossible to get decent defenses? I'm just at the mercy of what drops, and it's not much. I have almost no armour, no evasion and no resistances.
- Yeah dodge roll feels weird, especially when playing with WASD. But once you get the hang of it, it's great. Don't want to change this.
- Pathing around objects is weird sometimes. For example the frozen locust skill can actually trap you. Also, you will fight some sort of skeleton boss, and it's hands are impassible terrain, but you can't always see that.
- I have no idea what the story is. Either you can have a journal that summarizes the main story and ties that to the quest you're currently doing. Or have some videos to tie the story together. That's way more engaging than someone telling you some stuff. The story in Diablo IV was better for me, and it's something that they've always been very good at.
- Graphics are insane!
- Sounds design is very good
- Terrains are generally very good, but I feel they're quite empty. Some breakables or extra chests would be nice. I don't feel the incentive to discover the entire map. Grim Dawn has awesome breakable terrain. Some small dungeons might be nice too?

That's it for now, hopping right back into the rest of Act III
