POE 2 please let us map our buttons on controller

I've been playing poe 2 and I still don't know how I feel about it

but... after all those years of poe 1 and using the controller one way, why cant I keep using it the same way?

you guys inverted the tab controls on my stash, added vibration on every single momement on the tab, identify went from circle to square, equip went from x to square, pick up on inventory went from triangle to x, circle returns to game from the menu and it didn't before, confirming a sale to the disenchanter involves holding x which immediatly restarts the dialogue

I can get used to the new control scheme, but whenever I go back to poe1 I'll stumble again

I also understand that this is not the highest priority feature, and involves quite a few functions to map and maybe even the development of an interface, but I still believe the full launch should have button mapping available

So I just found out that you can use the right analog stick to better navigate the passive skill tree
Thank you very much for that, I still want proper mapping of my buttons but this is a great improvement from poe 1
There’s a few great improvements, but indeed also difficulties. Ability to map binding would be fantastic

Also: bindings screen usually explains current bindings, which is helpful. I accidentally switched to secondary weapon and I have no idea how to switch back 🫠

Also include macro buttons as well for non-Elite controllers that have them.
remapping controller buttons is mandatory, full-stop.

also, allow the action bar toggles to also be remapped - and add an alternate Toggle style rather than Hold.

go take a page out of FF14's book with their "cross hotbar", perhaps the most customizable MMO controller layout ever without 3rd party apps.

being able to hit L1 or R1 (LB/RB) to toggle from one page of skills to the other instead of having to hold LT and then mashing a button (while trying to use thumbs to move and aim) would be a big benefit to how I prefer to play, without resorting to an awful claw grip.
The worst one is Revive being on the same button as Dodge.

The moment you’re near a body you can’t dodge attacks 💀
