Matsya Crescent Quarterstaff doesn't reduce Ancestral Bond totem reservation

I tested this interaction with Dark Effigy.

After allocating Ancestral Bond, Dark Effigy begins to reserve 100 spirit. After equipping Matsya, the reservation does not change and stays at 100 spirit. I do see Blasphemy reduced from 60 spirit to 30 spirit. Matsya says "Skills" and Dark Effigy is a totem Skill. I feel like this is a bug and should work.

The wording on Ancestral Bond is:

Unlimited number of Summoned Totems
Totems reserve 100 Spirit each

Matsya Crescent Quarterstaff wording:

Skills reserve 50% less Spirit

I tested again after the latest patch and the reservation reduction still does not apply to Ancestral Bond totems.

That might be the intentional trade off of using "Ancestral Bond", as often set backs are often baked in. Good to still note, but it's possible that the 100 Spirit cost supersedes all other spirit costs, reductions, or increases.
