Prayer for Rain doesnt appear to work?

Was testing with a low level enemy. Get hit and take some ES damage, walk away to let reacharge start, and get hit again. Expected behavior is ES continues to recharge, does not.

I just switched to CI using Prayers for Rain. It is not working.

Recent (within 4 seconds of start of recharge) damage interrupts energy shield recharge. I initially thought the problem was my own spellcasting as a result of the Event Horizon node, but after unallocating it, the problem persists when taking damage from enemies.

Was excited to drop it on my Sorc, but that quickly vanished when I realized the recharge mod did nothing.

yeah seems like it doesnt work. feels bad, the respec took all my gold.
