POE 2, Character animation frozen and unable to use skills after interact

Got hit while I was using the Generator to place a Medium Soul Core for the Legacy of the Vaal quest and my character animation was stuck in a running pose. I could still move and my character would slide around on one foot, but I was unable to use any skills or create a portal.
