Health and Mana potions
Playing hardcore if I want 2 Health Potions instead of having 1 Health and Mana potion I should be able to do so.
Being limited in such a small area is huge. Just my honest opinion. It's aggravating. Last bumped on Apr 9, 2025, 11:38:53 PM

Bumping this because being forced to have a Mana Exclusive flask slot limits Blood Magic Builds that don't use mana

Jonathan, the fact health flasks no longer refill when fighting a boss (or white mobs with those shields and spears in Act II) and landing hits is a bad mechanic for several reasons:
1. You created a mechanic that punishes players who don't kill the boss fast enough/have enough armor/enough energy shield, etc. While You want players to "HAVE FUN" and not rush through POE2, you have designed a mechanic of "one health flask/no refill" which actually forces players to try to kill bosses really fast or else be a super tank. By Act II, the drop rate of gold and crafting resources means there is an extreme challenge to upgrading gear. The rare drops are so low, I found three rares to disenchant by Act II. The Dreadnaught boss fight is the perfect example - it's a two stage fight. It would be nice if I hit the boss, my health flask could refill x%. 2. When flasks say "42% chance to refill..." or "25% recovered..." - none of these appear to work - just like the charms. I don't even know the point of using Glassblower baubles to improve the quality of the flask because number of charges is so low, they are pointless in boss fights. 3. Zizaran is right-one health potion with no refill attritions out players for not being perfect. You punish players for interacting with the content. Players who want to fight a boss, now have to overlevel to compensate for the fact the one health flask with no refill in boss fight is overly challenging. Why am I and other players who are not YouTube streamer-level-of-skill being punished for interacting with the content? Why Jonathan????? WHY???? |
