Game Crash on Boss Engagement

Multiple times now, my game has crashed as a boss fight has started, or occasionally during the boss fight when the screen clutter ramps up. There is no warning, and there is no error message that accompanies it. It has happened at least for the boss in Red Veil and the witch in Grelwood.
