Demon Form Cancelled by Spells

Noticing that Demon Form is being cancelled by some spells and not others. Essence Drain/Profane Ritual are currently cancelling Demon Form when per the tool tip they should not be.

Figured it out. I'm getting a persistent Aura from my weapon called Malice. Whenever I cast Essence Drain, Malice must reapply or apply something that isn't a spell, which is popping me out of Demon Form.

Can confirm, I also get kicked out when doing anything in demon mode, but it worked perfectly fine when I unlocked it in the Sekhemas Trial, I even kept my minions which now get despawned upon changing into demon mode, so that's definitely a point in favor of it being because of spirit reservation shenanigans.
