Witch summoner and general problems

I like this game so far but i am glad this is EA and not the full release. Here are some of my general problems and the problem with the summoner.

General problem:
1. We keep on rolling and rolling and rolling...until you get to a mob of trash and you're stuck rolling. Especially the last a1 boss where you're in the mist and surrounded by mobs and sometime you get stuck and can't roll away from the mobs or the mist. And if you do the wolf is running you over.

2. Bosses with a bunch of health and multiple health bars. Its just tedious when they transform they get all their health back.

3. Need more crafting items like the one that turn normal item to rare items. Im sure the magic items are a filler and feels useless. I think i was using the first weapon i got in game until like 7...

4. Not enough support gems in the beginning and when moving it around it should dim the ones not socket-able.

5. Movement speed should be increased on all characters at least in the beginning zones or before getting movement speed bonuses and passive nodes.

6. Health flasks either need more charges in boss fights or somehow have health orbs to regenerate.

7. Bosses one shot mechanic. If they are doing some aoe skill that we have to dodge and then for some reason be slow after rolling then these skills shouldn't one shot you or have a aoe that covers your roll area.


Witch summoner problems

1. Skeletal warrior feels useless. They should at least have some aggro. Mobs dont even atk them. They just come straight for my character. They cant even kill white mobs and they die so easy. I have all the minion nodes that increase damage and health and a pack of white mobs would destroy them.

2. Summon active skills: I have 4 skeleton archers and i have to press the skill 4 times to use it. I think it would be better to just make them all fire the arrows at once. Im constantly rolling not to die and have to tell each of my archer to fire poison arrow individually?

3. BOSS FIGHT AOE. Forget the bosses not even noticing my summons but also decides to basically one shot them in their aoe spells. And i have 90% increase maximum minion health and damage.

4. Summon damage on boss fight: I have a scepter that gives me lvl 6 skeleton warriors. when i look at my minion info they do 2-5 main hand total damage. I am level 20. How are are summons suppose to deal any damage to these bosses?

5. Summon zombies in boss fights. If they dont have adds then this skill is useless in a boss fight.

These are some that i can think of right now. But please update or fix these soon.

I fully agree with the OP.

The summoner build is very underwhelming; skeleton warriors are ignored, die too easily, and do no damage. As a result, as a summoner you have no choice but to evade as tanking is not option.

The ranger and incinerator (?) do damage, but die almost too quick as the warriors are unable to gain and maintain aggro, and live to keep doing that.
Summoners in general just feel ungodly weak. Low damage, minions have poor survivability even with life nodes, add on top of the fact I also need to juggle my own defenses in the mix and the result is overall a disappointment. I died 5 times to Geonor before just equipping ED+Contagion to deal with him, especially during his add phase.

No joke, with no supports or passives allocated, I killed him deathless with those two skills. Meanwhile, my minions were just worthless.

It doesn't surprise me that they're weak, the more I think about it. GGG has been neglecting summoners for a long time now, even nerfing them into the ground. In PoE1, poison SRS is pretty much the only minion worth anything since it doesn't require a mirror-value helmet to get off the ground. Now it seems that trend has carried over to PoE2, except this time no minion is actually worth using.

They need to rehire whoever the genius was that's responsible for the golden age of summoners years ago.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley
This is so far my experience with minions in PoE2... Weak, underwhelming, a joke.

Minions totally need:

* Increase Health : Minions shouldn't get one-shotted by everything, in particular Skeleton WARRIORS
* Increase Resistances : Minions should get increased resistances to most things in Acts (could get lower and lower with each acts), but they need to live longer than 0.5 seconds
* Reduced auto-revive cooldown : The cooldown is way too long for how often they die, it's a joke
* Increase Damage : There's barely any supports to increase their damage and their base damage is just a total joke. The only time minions can do damage is when I get 10 extras from Unearth... Otherwise, they only tickles the enemies
* Increase Aggro : Minions like Warriors should have a higher aggro than the player. There should be a reason why I would want warriors in front of my archers, other than archers dying faster without meatshield... Mobs can still wipe your archers even when you have warriors in front.
* AoE attacks should do less damage on minions : In games like Guild Wars 2, minions/pets only receive 10% of the damage from bosses and mobs when they do not target them or use AoE. That is exactly to prevent every summons from dying in 1 shot. For PoE2, 90% feels extreme, but I think we could definitely use a 75% or 50% less damage received for minions.

Something must be done, because it is very not fun. I've played other class in act 1 that felt fun, but witch minion is just the WORST. Can't even kill the act 1 boss at lvl 18... you're just evading everything and hoping your summons can do 1 hit before they die in 1 shot again and need to wait another 10 seconds for another 1 hit maybe, then rinse and repeat...
I really don't understand the current state of minions. GGG has years of experience and feedback with PoE 1 and that's what they deliver. This is insane.
man if you complaining about witch try warrior .... that class is uber bad all streamers switched that class to ranged
