Game crashes in Act 2

since I got to valley of titans my game keeps crashing every few minutes. I can't recognize any specific mobs/spells/debuffs except the zones (valley of titans and the following grotto).
the crashes also happend to appear after I ascended as blood mage

CPU: Ryzen 9 5950X
GPU: 7800xt
RAM: 64 GB
Renderer: DX 12, DX 11 and Vulcan
Tripple buffering on and off

playing a blood mage with spark, orb of storms, flame wall, frost bolt and arc

TLDR: Crashes in Act 2 could be solve for me by unspeccing the Blood Remnand node till Act 3 town

edit: if it happens in party, all party members crash

edit2: I tried steam client and standalone client, both crashed. updated all drivers, still crashes.
Idon't know what do do anymore. Game is unplayable. I crash after 20 sec fighting.

edit 3: Problem is mainly caused by blood orbs from Bloodmages first ascendancy.
I stop crashing when I unspecc the node

edit 4: I specced my asendancy in the middle of act 3 again and didn't have any crashes mid combat since.

I will try goning back to act to to recreate crashes in the evening after work and post an update here.

Same class as you and about the same setup, I keep getting frequent crashes since I started act 2 yesterday about 6 hours into launch. It worked perfectly before.

One of the errors was: Failed to add node to quadtree due to it exceeding the bounds: AscendancyWitch2Notable2_

Which I assume it's saying that the 2nd ascendancy of witch (Blood mage) and the notable 2 (sanguine) is failing in some cases. I've also had other cases with other logs, but the crashes won't stop happening.

Perhaps taking the Sanguine node out for testing purposes?

I've had a similar experience after being to this zone. I'm crashing in combat at random times in all of the zones following on in Act 2.

I'm also a Blood Mage but I was playing perfectly fine for a bit after ascending before getting to this zone and the rest of Act 2.

I've looked at my log file and there doesn't seem to be anything standing out at the time of the crashes.

I've had 10 crashes in the past hour so I'm just going to hang up the game until there is some communication from GGG.

CPU: Intel i9-10900K
GPU: RTX 3090
RAM: 64GB

I have also tried switching between Vulkan and DX12 with no difference.

Edit: Just wanted to add that I've tried the game on my PC and on Geforce NOW and had the same crashes.

I think it has to do with blood mage. when this happens in party, all party members crash. just tested it with two different friends.

Can confirm I also crash in Act 2 very frequently straight to desktop. I am also a blood mage with Arc, Orb of Storms, Frostbolt.

Same exact thing happening to me. Playing Blood Mage, and since crashing to desktop once in Valley of Titans, I now crash to desktop every 3 minutes or so with no error. Game ran fine previously.

Same, refunding the ascendancy fixed the issue. Will have to play without ascendancy for now.

Just wanted to comment again and confirm that unspecing the Blood Mage node does indeed fix the problem.

This is a huge problem that hopefully GGG have eyes on because currently the class is useless other than having +3% life.

Also have this bug, confirming unspeccing Sanguinmancy stops the crashes as well.

Same problem here and it is solved by unalocating sanguimancy.
Error in log after crash are :

Spec:
- AMD Ryzen 7 5800x
- Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080
- 32gb Ram

Running the staff Dusk Vigil, if that is important.
