POE2 Freezes my entire pc, audio spazzing out and only thing I can do is hard shut down from PC button, have they said anything about it, any fixes coming, I just bought the game and I want to play, but I might have to refund.

same problem looks like win 11 24h2 problem update if u able to down grade ur windows u can play without freeze pc
pls GGG fix somehow this problem T_T

check ya cpu heat, you can get overlays.

i use NZXT cam to monitor.

if you get to 90%+ that may be the cause.

just a idea to check.

I'm having the same issue:

7800X3D
4070ti
32GB Ram Now Undercloked to 4800 MTs (Not Freezing yet*) Usally 6000 MTs
Windows 11 24H2

CPU is Hitting around 90-98c Underload with NHDH-15 Usually never gets this warm.

Spiking to All Core 90% Utilization in especially Loading Screens.

Not able to log any crashes because it freezes OS and external tools as i have found just stops as the same time as the game freezes.

Edit: Just Freezed with 4800 MTs changing back to 6000 MTs for better performance.

Was running HWinfo64 during Freeze no report of high CPU load or anything just insta freeze in loading screen.

downgrade windows version fixed my problem
also if u cant downgrade remove multithreading in settings (but low fps)

Same problem to me and indeed, my game does go above 90% in new loading zones. PoE2 problem, never ever happened before and I never went above 80% before. I think it might indeed be a bug between 24H2 and POE2 with some CPUs perhaps?

12-700k here with W11 24H2

Exactly the same issue happening here. Only crashes when I move between maps and it completely locks up my PC.

My spec:

Windows 11 Home Version 10.0.26100
Intel i7-7820X
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti
32GB RAM
Using Nvidia driver 566.36.

long story short in 108 sides: no permanent working solution so far.
PC/game keeps still crashing

Recommendation to stop playing until fix, or play without multithread under 30fps.

Otherwise u will damange your system permanently
