PoE 2 Gemling Legionnaire missing extra skills, now character is bricked

I added the ascendancy point "Integrated Efficiency" for 3 extra skills and saw the empty slots showed up. As soon as I went into town, the 3 open slots vanished and I had the normal amount everyone else does.

A while later I decided to respec the node to see if it would give me the slots back. It did, so I socketed some gems in this time to try and keep the slots from vanishing. However, as soon as I went back into town, my game crashed.

Now the character crashes instantly upon login. It kicks me back to the main menu with the message "An unexpected disconnection occurred." and I can no longer play.

Seems like there's an issue with the ascendancy's extra skill slots when in town.

While i don't have a bricked Character. i am also experiencing this issue with my skills disappearing after acquiring the passive trait.

I also have the same issue, tried to go back to the town to put runes on my gear and am now locked out of the game :(

I chose Gemling Legionnaire and added my 3 skills (did not respec or anything), and got kicked right when I moved to a new area and now, I can't log back in.

My character hasn't bricked (Yet?) however I also don't have the extra skill slots.

Same here, it's probably best to respec the passives until the issue is resolved.

Yeah I'm having the same problem. Really sucks! Was looking forward to slotting these skills in but had a rude awakening when I returned to the caravan. Damn.

My Witchhunter softlocked after entering Ziggurat Encampment. Got the disconnected error and return to login view. I suspect my char clipped somewhere in the meshes or terrain and cannot spawn correctly. Please fix ASAP, my new character is working fine.

It is the same on standalone and Steam.
